Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer to protect our data and systems. You will own end-to-end telemetry ingestion into Elasticsearch, maintain cloud-native clusters, and collaborate with a skilled InfoSec team to enhance security posture.

You will build pipelines, manage ILM, CCS, and alerts using Terraform and Helm, while applying AI automation to streamline operations and improve reliability. Eligibility for DoD IL4+ environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Elastic in production with ingest pipelines.
• Proven AI acceleration experience and end-to-end ownership.
• Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting.
• Terraform for cloud and Elasticsearch resources.
• REST API integration experience.
• Python scripting for ingestion/automation.
• Eligible to work in DoD IL4+ environments.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch via pipelines.
• Maintain Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters; upgrade and monitor.
• Manage ILM, cross-cluster search, and capacity.
• Use Terraform to manage pipelines and alerts; deploy with Helm.
• Develop AI automation to reduce toil and improve ops.
• Ensure data quality, schemas, and cost controls.
