Job summary

The Vasquez Advantage, Inc. is seeking an IT Audit professional based in the Philippines. The role requires a four-year accounting degree and at least three years of IT audit experience, preferably with global firms. Strong knowledge of COBIT and COSO, and experience in SOC report assessments, are highly valued.

The candidate will work with information systems auditing, IT governance, risk assessment, and security concepts across ERP, cloud, and infrastructure environments in a global context.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in accounting is required.
• At least three years of IT Audit experience preferred.
• Experience with SOC reports (SOC1, SOC2, SOC3) is desirable.

Job description

This position is open only to candidates currently residing in the Philippines. Applicants outside the Philippines will not be considered.

A four-year degree in accounting is required, with at least three years of IT Audit experience, internal or external, preferably with experience from global firms.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, user knowledge of Outlook; ability to put a basic PowerPoint presentation together, and efficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word software. Fast and accurate keyboard skills.

Technical Skills

• Possess strong knowledge of information systems auditing, including general audit methodologies and US-SOX IT assessments, as well as technology concepts and best practices.
• Solid understanding of General IT Controls and IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance frameworks, including COBIT and COSO.
• Developing experience in assessing System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports, including SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3 (Type I and Type II).
• Gaining expertise in key IT and information security areas, such as cybersecurity, IT risk assessments, vulnerability management, penetration testing, ERP applications, infrastructure, system implementations, internet/security architectures, cloud computing, and back-office operations.
• Capable of understanding, assessing, and prioritizing risks across all components of the IT environment, including applications, operating systems, and databases
