Job summary

MUFG is seeking an experienced senior leader with a technical IAM background to lead a team responsible for end-to-end IAM operations across the workforce and non-human identities. The role emphasizes platform health, automation, and strong collaboration with HR, IT Risk, Compliance, and Infrastructure teams.

The candidate should demonstrate 10 years of IAM experience, team leadership, and a track record delivering security and operational excellence in complex, multi-region environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IAM experience with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience operating IAM services at enterprise scale across multiple regions.
• Strong ITSM and operational management experience: incident, problem, change, request, and service health reporting.
• Experience managing third-party SI partners or managed services with measurable outcomes.
• Track record delivering automation and self-service using workflows, APIs, and orchestration.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance requirements (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI).
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and identity-centric security patterns.
• Experience applying AI agents or AI-assisted support in IT/security operations with governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and run end-to-end IAM operations to deliver reliable and secure identity services.
• Lead IAM service delivery, automation, and self-service initiatives.
• Manage ITSM-aligned operations: incident, problem, change, request, and knowledge management.
• Communicate operational status, maintenance notices, and post-incident reviews.
