Job summary

WSP USA in the Philippines seeks an experienced Hydraulics Engineer Lead to design building services hydraulics and supervise the hydraulics team. You will ensure designs meet client intent and country standards while coordinating with authorities for approvals.

Requirements include a BS inSanitary/Hydraulics, 8+ years in a similar role, and preferably PSSE. AutoCAD and Revit skills are advantageous as you drive multi-disciplinary project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Sanitary/Hydraulics.
• Board Passer and Registered Sanitary Engineer (PSSE) is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge in hydraulics; sanitary drainage & vent systems, water systems, stormwater.
• Familiar with 3D modelling and design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulics service design for building services and related systems.
• Supervise the hydraulics engineering team to meet project objectives.
• Ensure designs meet country-specific standards and client intent.
• Coordinate with local authorities for approvals when needed.
• Maintain records of drawings per QA procedures.
• Liaise with internal and external teams and clients.
• Manage outputs per design works program and attend meetings as required.
• Provide training and development for junior staff.
• Prepare high-level technical reports and review project reports.
• Apply safety in design and QA/OHS practices.
