Job summary

WSP in Manila seeks an experienced Hydraulics Engineer to lead hydraulic design for building services and related systems. You will supervise a team of engineers, ensuring project designs meet client and regulatory expectations and coordinating with local authorities.

The role requires a BS in Sanitary/Hydraulics, 8+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; PSSE is a plus. You will contribute to multidisciplinary project activities and deliver high‑level technical

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Sanitary / Hydraulics.
Board Passer and Registered Sanitary Engineer (PSSE) is a plus.
At least 8 years of experience in a similar capacity.
Knowledge in Hydraulics; sanitary drainage & vent system, cold, hot and return water system, stormwater drainage system.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the Hydraulics service design of building services and associated systems of work.
Leads and supervises the Hydraulics Engineering team in implementing project objectives, plans and programs.
Ensures that the project designs/studies from the clients are completed in accordance with acceptable standards.
Liaises with local supply authorities to gain approvals when necessary.
Manages and maintains the record of all drawings in accordance with QA procedures.
Attends meetings local and overseas and coordinates with other design disciplines.
Develops high level technical reports and reviews medium size project reports.
Project Lead on medium sized multi-discipline projects.
