Job summary

Cobden & Carter International is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner in the Philippines. The role will partner with business and HR leadership to drive the people agenda, engagement, retention, performance, and labor relations.

Responsibilities include partnering with leaders, implementing retention initiatives, supporting annual HR processes, and advising on HR policies. Requires 7+ years of HRBP experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR Business Partnering experience.
• Strong Employee Relations and Labor Relations experience.
• Good knowledge of Philippine labor laws.
• Experience with DOLE mediation preferred/required depending on hiring manager.
• Strong experience in performance management, engagement, retention, and talent management.
• Experience handling employee investigations and disciplinary cases.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presence.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and business stakeholders.
• Experience with Workday or other HRIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and business leaders to support business goals and employee engagement
• Develop and implement retention and attrition reduction initiatives
• Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, talent reviews, promotions, and engagement surveys
• Partner across the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, development, engagement, and offboarding
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, programs, and practices
• Handle employee relations cases, including NTEs, investigations, administrative hearings, and Notices of Decision
• Provide manager coaching on performance management and employee relations
• Handle or support DOLE mediation and ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws
• Support organizational restructuring, redeployment, and change management
• Support annual benefits enrollment and culture-building initiatives
