Job summary

Allegro Microsystems Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance hardware. You will own architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices to improve product quality and time-to-market.

You will design complex circuits, develop PCBs, maintain libraries, and generate fabrication packages, while actively improving design processes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Progressive hardware engineering experience of 5+ years.
• Experience delivering complex hardware from concept to production.
• Proficiency with Altium/Cadence and PCB layout.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design and development of complex, high-performance circuits and systems, meeting performance, cost, and schedule goals.
• Designs and develops PCB layouts per company guidelines and best practices.
• Maintains electronic component libraries with schematics and PCB land patterns.
• Mentors junior engineers and leads design reviews to develop skills.
• Creates clear design documentation including schematics and BOMs.
• Generates and releases PCB fabrication packages on time.
• Identifies opportunities to improve design processes and tools.
• Submits monthly accomplishment reports with findings and goals.
• Performs order-related duties as assigned.
