Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to design, develop, and scale cloud-native backend services using Go, Kafka, and AWS EKS. You will build high-performance distributed systems and ensure they are reliable in production.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker, GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and collaboration with DevOps, QA, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions. 6+ years in software with 3+ years in Golang are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in Go.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, memory management, and microservices in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, schema registry).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably on AWS EKS.
• Proficiency in CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• RESTful APIs and gRPC experience; cloud-native design and IaC awareness are plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable backend services using Golang.
• Architect and implement event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using EKS (AWS Kubernetes).
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, and Architecture) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security in production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability and uptime.
