Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage the corporate IT network across multiple sites in the Philippines and globally.

You will gather requirements, set standards, and ensure high availability while coordinating with security teams. The role requires CCNA and 5+ years in multi-site environments, with hands-on experience in WAN/LAN/WLAN, data centers, and network automation.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in network engineering in multi-site, multinational environments.
• Experience with WAN/LAN/WLAN, data centers, and security.
• CCNA certification required; CCNP/CCIE a plus.
• Strong documentation and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the corporate IT network.
• Gather requirements and design solutions for global network needs.
• Establish and maintain foundational network architecture and standards.
• Monitor health, on-call duties, triage incidents and escalations.
• Manage changes and network projects end-to-end.
• Collaborate with security teams on ongoing enhancements.
• Develop capacity models and performance reports.
• Produce operational materials and troubleshooting guides.
