Job summary

RingCentral in Manila seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and operate the company’s global corporate networks with multi-vendor gear. You will drive upgrades, analyze performance, and provide escalation support for critical issues while mentoring team members.

You’ll participate in 24x7 on-call rotations, engage vendors, and develop standards and procedures. The role requires willingness to work night shifts in a hybrid office setup in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering/design and operation of large, high-availability, global enterprise networks.
• Experience in multi-vendor environments (Juniper, Cisco, Mist, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cato, Zscaler).
• Proficiency in AI and automation; Linux knowledge is a plus.
• Willing to work night shifts and in a hybrid setup (10–11 days in office per month in Cubao or Ortigas).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate Global RingCentral Corporate Networks according to design specifications.
• Produce architectural design recommendations for upgrades and drive future network functionality and architectures.
• Collect operational and trend statistics and analyze performance results.
• Provide advanced technical support for issues escalated from network and systems operations teams and act as the top escalation point for all critical network-related issues.
• Provide training and knowledge transfers to other network team members.
• Design complex and efficiently operable networks to support real-time protocols.
• Serve as a network subject matter and policy expert.
• Continuously identify and leverage new technologies or methodologies.
• Engage vendors.
• Operate the Global RingCentral Corporate network environment.
• Manage capacity and performance of existing infrastructure.
• Execute routine changes, provisioning services and deployments.
• Isolate faults, recover services and analyze incidents.
• Provide level three technical support to global IT teams.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Develop standards, procedures and other documentation.
• Provide direction and training for other network engineers and administrators.
