Job summary

Johnson & Johnson, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Senior Specialist in Global Compensation & Benefits Accounting (PG25) to join the Global Services Finance team in Manila. You will manage payroll-like cost recording, pension, expenses, and bonuses, ensuring accurate balances while upholding internal controls and compliance.

You will collaborate across regions, train new joiners, and support audits, with strong English communication and willingness to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications preferred.
• 4–6 years of professional experience required.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/managerial experience required.
• Able to work night shift.

Responsibilities

• Comply with applicable laws and J&J Credo guidelines.
• Execute accounting and daily operations for Compensation & Benefits Accounting.
• Close financial periods timely per calendar and SLA, with SOX compliance.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of actuals within scope.
• Maintain world-wide procedures and compliance knowledge.
• Balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• Train new team members and BPO partners.
• Support auditors and legal authorities as needed.
• Adhere to worldwide policies; identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintain strong internal controls for audit readiness.
• Lead/participate in regional/global duties as assigned.
