Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an experienced finance professional for General Ledger and consolidation duties in the Philippines. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and produce required reports for stakeholders, while ensuring timely month-end closings per global SLA.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred, with 6–8 years in finance and strong English communication. Knowledge of SAP and shared services is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate with Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• Typically 6-8 years of finance professional experience in accounting processes.
• Experience in General Ledger is essential.
• Knowledge in SAP and Shared Services Center/BPO is a plus.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle time pressure.
• Strong work ethic: openness, trust, integrity.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Provide balance confirmations of intercompany and manage fixed asset transactions.
• Prepare various reports and complex reporting for stakeholders.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monitor/clear open items.
• Close monthly with accuracy per global calendar and SLA.
• Review and approve Blackline journals per policy.
• Support internal controls review and documentation per iPace requirements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly unit consolidation reports.
• Act as point of contact for audits and update SOPs.
