RiDiK is hiring a Senior GenAI Application Engineer to design and deploy sophisticated generative AI solutions for enterprise needs. This contract role is based in Singapore River Central Region, offering high-impact AI projects and collaboration across teams.

We are seeking an experienced Senior GenAI Application Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team on a contract basis. Based in the Singapore River Central Region, this role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact generative AI projects that shape the future of enterprise technology. As a Senior GenAI Application Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying sophisticated generative AI applications that solve complex business challenges. This position is pivotal to our technology roadmap, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between AI research, software engineering best practices and real-world business implementation.
Design and develop generative AI applications using state-of-the-art frameworks, models and tools, ensuring scalability and performance
Lead the full software development lifecycle for AI-powered solutions, from concept and prototyping through to production deployment
Architect robust and maintainable systems that integrate large language models (LLMs) and other generative AI technologies with enterprise applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards and mentor junior engineers to ensure high-quality code delivery
Optimise AI model performance, latency and cost efficiency in production environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AI application deployment and integration
Stay current with emerging generative AI technologies, frameworks and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate
Document technical architecture, system design decisions and implementation guidelines for knowledge sharing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years focused on generative AI or machine learning applications
Deep proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++ or Go
Strong experience with generative AI frameworks and tools, including but not limited to PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, OpenAI APIs or similar technologies
Demonstrated expertise in integrating large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques into production applications
Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience with API development, database design and handling large-scale data processing
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git)
Preferred: Experience with prompt engineering, fine-tuning models, or developing custom AI solutions
Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for AI applications
Preferred: Portfolio or GitHub repository demonstrating previous GenAI or AI-related projects
