Job summary

Parser is seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications. You will work on microservices, API development, databases, and frontend with ReactJS, ensuring high availability and performance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in backend development, strong Python expertise, and cloud experience with AWS. Flexible remote work is offered, with occasional travel to the UK office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 8 years of backend development experience with emphasis on scalable, high-performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate models into backend systems and create API endpoints for model interaction (e.g., retrieving predictions).
• Develop and maintain scalable services using REST, gRPC, or GraphQL for optimal performance.
• Optimize database queries and schemas for scalability and reliability.
• Implement authentication and authorization using industry-standard practices.
• Develop and maintain web interfaces using ReactJS.
• Implement and maintain state management with tools like Redux or React Query.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure efficient API integration and a seamless UX.
• Troubleshoot production issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and quality releases.
• Monitor backend performance using observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar.
• Participate in design discussions to improve system robustness and scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation for clarity on capabilities and updates.
