Job summary

Parser Limited is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer specializing in React.js to design and build scalable, high-performing web applications.

You will collaborate with backend teams, implement testing strategies, ensure accessibility and cross‑browser compatibility, and continuously improve frontend architecture.

This hybrid role offers flexible remote work in Spain with monthly travel to the UK office and a highly competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of frontend development with proven React.js delivery.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries/tools such as Redux, React Query, or Context API.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using React.js.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, interactive user interfaces.
• Implement best practices for frontend architecture, including performance optimization, state management, and reusable component design.
• Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end automated tests to ensure compatibility and integration with backend systems.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with robust APIs.
• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility for all web applications.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and advocate their adoption where beneficial.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer with a passion for building innovative, user-centric web applications. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring exceptional user experiences and seamless integration with backend APIs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of frontend technologies, UI/UX principles, and the drive to stay updated with the latest trends in the field.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, responsive web applications using React.js.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, interactive user interfaces.
• Implement best practices for frontend architecture, including performance optimization, state management, and reusable component design.
• Design and implement comprehensive end-to-end automated tests to ensure backward compatibility and seamless integration with backend systems.

• Ensure accessibility and cross-browser compatibility for all web applications.
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and best practices, advocating their adoption when beneficial.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and implement automated testing strategies to maintain high-quality code and seamless end-to-end integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues, optimizing the performance and reliability of the applications.
• Document code, development processes, and architectural decisions.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 6+ years in frontend development, with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks, especially React.js.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
• Experience with state management libraries/tools such as Redux, React Query, or Context API.
• Expertise in integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming techniques.
• Familiarity with graphs libraries such as eCharts.
  
• Basic understanding of the Python programming language, as the backend is developed on it.
  

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Nice to have an understanding of micro-frontend architecture.

• Candidates based in Spain: flexible remote work, with availability to travel to the UK office in Hayes, West London,once per month.
