Job summary

Treantly is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to shape a Digital Customer Ecosystem that unifies eCommerce, product information, and digital services in Azure.

You will design and deliver scalable software across backend and frontend using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment. Hybrid work in Taguig with potential for full remote arrangements is available.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design backend and frontend functionality using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code and automated tests.
• Create and scale REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus).
• Deploy and operate applications in Azure Cloud, including containerized workloads (AKS / Docker Swarm).
• Integrate with databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and messaging platforms.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and cross-functional engineers.
• Work in a Scrum team and contribute to estimations and planning.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will help shape a Digital Customer Ecosystem that unifies eCommerce, product information, and digital services into one seamless self-service experience. You will work across backend, frontend, and cloud environments, taking ownership of scalable, distributed systems in Azure.

You will design and deliver high-quality software that supports the entire customer journey—from initial discovery to repeat business.

Your Tasks Include

• Designing, developing, and improving backend and frontend functionality using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Building clean, maintainable, and testable codebases, including automated tests (JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Playwright)
• Creating and scaling REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations (Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus)
• Deploying and operating applications in Azure Cloud, including containerized workloads (AKS / Docker Swarm)
• Integrating with messaging platforms, APIs, relational and NoSQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Collaborating closely with architects, product owners, QA, and cross-functional engineers to shape technical direction
• Working in a Scrum team, contributing to estimations, planning, and continuous improvement

Work Arrangement

The position is primarily structured as a hybrid role based in Taguig. However, the company is open to approving a fully remote arrangement for highly qualified candidates, particularly those who live outside Metro Manila or would otherwise have difficulty reporting onsite.

For candidates following the onsite or hybrid arrangement, the initial training and onboarding period may last approximately two weeks to one month. Remote onboarding may also be arranged on a case-by-case basis for candidates approved for permanent remote work.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (25), Spring Boot, Angular (18), TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Practical experience with Azure Cloud, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps), Docker, and Git-based collaboration
• Solid understanding of automated testing across backend and frontend layers
• Ability to work independently and take technical ownership in complex, cloud-native environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset in agile, cross-functional teams
