PetSure Services Incorporated (PSI) seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive the development and modernization of PetSure’s technology platforms. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with Manila and Australia teams in a hybrid on-site/off-site setup.

The role focuses on migrating from .NET Framework to .NET Core, building microservices and REST APIs, and delivering scalable, secure software in a regulated financial services context.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on full stack experience with C# and .NET Core.
Strong React front-end development experience with REST API integration.
Solid SQL skills; experience with EF Core; SQL Server or Azure SQL preferred.
Proven automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end layers.
Experience deploying on Azure and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Job description

PetSure Services Incorporated (PSI) is an insurance contact center and claims operation located in Taguig, Metro Manila. PSI has been in the Philippines since 2014. PSI is jointly owned by Insurance Support Services International (ISSI) Corporation in the Philippines and PetSure in Australia. PetSure is Australia's leading provider of pet health insurance products and act as underwriting agents and administrators for Australia's leading pet health insurance brands.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be a core contributor to the development and ongoing maintenance of PetSure’s technology platforms. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, bring a forward-thinking mindset, and apply your expertise across the full development lifecycle — from feature development and system design through to production support and root cause analysis.

You will work as an integrated member of a cross-functional agile team comprising PSI's Manila-based engineering cohort and PetSure Australia-based engineering team. Given the offshore/onshore collaboration model, strong communication skills, cultural alignment, and a proactive approach to remote teamwork are as important as technical proficiency.

The engineering team is currently undergoing an exciting modernisation initiative, transitioning a suite of in-house built platforms from legacy .NET Framework architecture to a modern .NET Core / cloud-native stack. This role sits at the heart of that transformation.

This is a senior individual contributor role — no people leadership responsibilities are required, though you will be expected to provide technical guidance and peer mentorship within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack features across PetSure’s suite of in-house applications.
Contribute actively to the .NET Framework → .NET Core modernisation program, including refactoring legacy codebases and implementing modern architectural patterns such as event driven architecture and microservices.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs using C# .NET Core, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability appropriate for a regulated financial services environment.
Develop responsive, maintainable front-end interfaces using React, with an understanding of component design, state management, and accessibility best practices.
Write and maintain automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers using frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, NUnit, and WebDriverIO/Selenium.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline management, including build configuration, deployment automation, and release governance using GitHub Actions or equivalent tooling.
Engage in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint ceremonies as an active agile team member.
Participate in production incident response and root cause analysis, applying structured problem-solving to identify and resolve issues in live environments.
Collaborate across time zones with Australian stakeholders — written communication, async updates, and video-based standups are a regular part of this role.

Required Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Strong C# and .NET API development skills, with demonstrated commercial experience building backend services in .NET Core (ASP.NET Core Web API).
Solid experience with React for front-end development, including hooks, component architecture, and integration with REST APIs.
Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core (EF Core), including LINQ-based querying, migrations, and data modelling. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL is preferred.
Practical experience with automated testing across the stack — including unit testing (NUnit, Jest), component testing (React Testing Library), and end-to-end testing (WebDriverIO or Selenium).
Strong working knowledge of Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, and deployment automation.
Practical experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools to improve development velocity and code quality.
Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, or equivalent).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the discipline to thrive in a structured sprint-based delivery environment.
Must be willing to do hybrid work arrangement - Onsite reporting - 1x or 2x in a month (depending on business needs). Office location: Giga Tower Bridgetowne, E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue Quezon City

Highly Regarded (Advantageous)

Experience migrating or modernising applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core.
Experience working within or alongside insurance, fintech, or similarly regulated industries.
Understanding of cloud security and Azure-native services (Key Vault, Service Bus, etc.).
Prior experience in an offshore delivery model working with Australian or similar English-speaking clients.
