Job summary

Comrise is seeking a software engineer to design, code, test, and debug enhancements for our commercial software. You will deliver maintainable solutions aligned with security and performance standards, while promoting test automation within the team.

Collaborating across UX, QA, SRE, DevOps, and security groups worldwide, you will apply Agile, SOLID principles and CI/CD practices to deliver robust software for global markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related software development experience with Agile Scrum and CI.
• Proactive team player with strong work ethic.
• Collaborates across UX, EA, QA, SRE, DevOps, POs, BAs, and security teams globally.
• Front-end experience: SPA, Angular, Bootstrap, Typescript.
• Experience with internationalization/localization for global markets.
• Azure development knowledge (Azure VM, Kubernetes, SQL Azure, Batch) is a plus.
• Experience with TDD or BDD.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug new product enhancements for our commercial software products
• Deliver maintainable and reusable solutions that follow cyber security standards and performance benchmarks
• Advocate test automation as part of the fabric of the team
• Conduct code reviews for peers and/or junior team members
• Participate in evaluation of emerging technology and tools
• Incorporate an agile mindset as it applies to software development, team collaboration and open communication
