Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Java Technical Lead to steer the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on backend and frontend expertise, leadership capabilities, and a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.

You will mentor a team, collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA, and contribute to solution architecture while ensuring milestones are met with best practices and robust technical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java application development.
• At least 1 year of experience leading a software development team.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful API development.
• Experience in backend and frontend development with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, software architecture, and microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software developers throughout the SDLC.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, QA, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain both backend services and frontend applications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues.
• Participate in solution architecture, design discussions, and technology evaluations.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones with high-quality standards.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and drive process improvements.
