Ascendion in Makati, Philippines, seeks a senior full‑stack engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support secure enterprise applications. You will lead cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, drive DevSecOps practices, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires strong Java, front-end, and SQL Server skills and collaboration across business and technology teams. You will work on-site in a fast-paced environment, focusing on scalable architectures, security, and governance while

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Five to ten years of software development experience, including full stack development.
At least three years with Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA).
Experience building front-end apps with HTML5/CSS3/JS/TS and frameworks (Angular/React/Vue).
Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, microservices and cloud integrations.
Strong SQL Server database design and administration concepts.
Proficiency with Azure cloud-native development and deployment.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and secure coding practices.
Knowledge of design patterns, testing strategies, and performance monitoring.
Excellent analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.

Mansioni

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java-based technologies.
Build responsive front-ends with modern frameworks and best practices.
Develop back-end services, REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
Design and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases and queries.
Develop and support solutions on Microsoft Azure, including App Services and Functions.
Support cloud migration and on-premise to cloud integrations.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub.
Monitor performance, security, and reliability across Azure environments.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, PMs, and security teams to translate requirements into solutions.
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and SDLC activities.
Conduct testing and support UAT.
Troubleshoot across application, database, cloud, and integration layers.
Prepare technical docs and deployment procedures.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Provide knowledge transfer and support to teams.
Lead mentoring and development of engineers.
