You will own features across frontend, backend, data, and cloud platforms, contributing from discovery through production. Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of major product features.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals with hands-on React experience; Next.js is highly relevant.
• Strong backend engineering in Node.js and/or Python, including API design, asynchronous workflows, and testing.
• Experience with relational databases and schema design (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs; GraphQL is valuable.
• Production experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a distributed team with strong communication.
• At least four hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern or Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, release, and operate production features across frontend, backend, data layer, and cloud environment.
• Create clear service boundaries, data models, APIs, and integration patterns to support growth.
• Build accessible, responsive React and Next.js interfaces with strong performance and reusable components.
• Develop reliable Node.js and Python services, REST or GraphQL APIs, and background workflows.
• Help ship LLM-powered workflows with evaluation, observability, privacy controls, and failure handling.
• Improve automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, incident response, security, and performance.
• Modernize legacy components while protecting customer experience and delivery momentum.
• Lead technical discussions, review code, mentor engineers, and raise engineering quality.
