Job summary

Truelogic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fintech-focused engineering team building scalable, data-intensive systems. You will design PostgreSQL schemas, implement distributed backends, and deliver polished React/Next.js user experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Own features end-to-end, implement reliability patterns, integrate with third-party services via webhooks, and mentor colleagues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering production-ready applications end-to-end.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Advanced experience with React and Next.js.
• Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and database engineering.
• Experience designing event-driven and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering patterns (idempotency, DLQs, outbox).
• Experience building webhook-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for IaC.
• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of product features from database design to frontend delivery and production monitoring.
• Design and maintain scalable event-driven and distributed systems.
• Develop and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries and workflows for financial operations.
• Build resilient integrations with third-party systems via webhooks and queues.
• Implement reliability patterns and fault-tolerant processing.
• Create responsive UIs with React and Next.js.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and drive scalability and observability.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and delivery speed.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in handling sensitive data.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams for great UX.
• Implement and maintain observability using Datadog/OpenTelemetry.
• Use IaC practices with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
• Ensure compliance with SOC2/PCI-DSS where applicable.
• Look for opportunities to improve engineering workflows and automation.
