Umpisa Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain features using React and NestJS.

You will architect scalable APIs, own features through deployment, and work closely with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions. Candidate should have 5+ years of experience, strong TypeScript, API design, cloud and CI/CD familiarity, and mentoring skills.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture).
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS or a similar Node.js framework (Express, Fastify).
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, with a solid grasp of type-safe design across frontend and backend.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar).
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal project portfolio.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and driving successful project outcomes.
• Prior experience conducting Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions, training, or facilitation for teams and/or clients is highly preferred.

Work Set-up:

• Hybrid set-up
• October: On-site training in Singapore (travel provision included)
• November - December: Continuation of training on-site in Manila
• Standard work arrangement resumes thereafter, in line with the assigned project's requirements
