Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS or a similar Node.js framework (Express, Fastify).
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, with a solid grasp of type-safe design across frontend and backend.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar).
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal project portfolio.
• Prior experience mentoring or leading engineers.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features using React on the frontend and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript) on the backend.
• Architect scalable, well-tested APIs and services, and contribute to our data modeling and system design.
• Own features from technical design through deployment and monitoring in production.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested TypeScript code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, technical debt, and scalability challenges.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and help raise the technical bar across the team.
• Contribute to engineering best practices, tooling, and CI/CD processes.

Work Set-up:

• Hybrid set-up
• October: On-site training in Singapore (travel provision included).
• November – December: Continuation of training on-site in Manila.

Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features using React on the frontend and NestJS (Node.js/TypeScript) on the backend

• Conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions and training for team members and stakeholders, including during the Singapore (October) and Manila (November–December) training engagements.
• Develop and deliver training materials, guides, and documentation to support upskilling and smooth knowledge handover.

• Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks, state management, component architecture)
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS or a similar Node.js framework (Express, Fastify)
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, with a solid grasp of type-safe design across frontend and backend
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
