Job summary

Global Payments Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Engineer III to join our Active Network team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will own the design and delivery of multi-tier software systems, collaborating with product and operations to meet business goals. Expect hands-on work with Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs and React frontend, plus testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development experience and web UI development experience.
• 6+ years in Java development and 5+ years in web frontend development.
• 5+ years in building large web sites with HTML & CSS.
• Experience designing applications using Java EE platforms and OO analysis with design patterns.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs, Java internals, and ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate).
• Experience with Spring MVC, React.js, responsive design, Git, Agile, and web frameworks (JSF/Wicket/GWT/Spring MVC).
• Experience with test-driven development and unit testing of frontend code (PowerMockito).

Responsibilities

• Engineer complex, multi-tiered distributed software systems.
• Design, implement, test and document/diagram software solutions for requirements.
• Perform code changes to enhance product, resolve issues, and develop new products.
• Complete code changes in a timely manner aligned with project plans.
• Keep up to date with best practices.
