Job summary

Vena in Pune is seeking a Senior Software Developer, Full Stack (React & Oops) with 5-8 years experience to join the Core Engineering team. You will work across the full stack, crafting high-quality user interfaces and robust APIs that power our platform and serve thousands of customers.

This role emphasizes collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers, participation in code reviews, and adoption of AI-driven development practices to boost productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in full stack or combined front end and back end software development.
Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Experience working with and maintaining a design system.
Experience in object-oriented methodologies and design patterns.
Prior experience in a Scrum / Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain high-quality features across the full stack - from front end components and user interfaces to back end APIs and server-side logic.
Contribute to and help maintain the team's design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across the product.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs that support product features, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues across the stack in foundational systems.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback that raises the quality of the team's output.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across disciplines to deliver cohesive, well-integrated features.
Support modernization efforts on core platform infrastructure, helping move the codebase forward incrementally and responsibly.
Upskill other team members and help those around you grow technically.
Drive the adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling to enhance engineering productivity and accelerate high-quality software delivery.
