Job summary

MVP Asia Pacific Inc. in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer on a Hybrid basis.

You will design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS, delivering scalable features end-to-end. You will own complex product features, collaborate with the Technical Lead on architecture and sprint planning, review code for quality and security, and mentor junior developers while ensuring robust API,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent commercial software development experience.
• 5 to 7+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Advanced commercial experience with React.js and modern frontend architecture.
• Advanced experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Strong experience with Node.js backend development.
• Strong experience with NestJS or a similar structured Node.js framework.
• Strong experience designing, building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience using Git and GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests and code reviews.
• Experience with ORM tools such as TypeORM or similar.
• Experience taking ownership of complex features from technical design through production support.
• Experience reviewing code and providing technical guidance to other developers.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common web application security risks.
• Comfortable working in an Agile software development environment.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues across the full application stack.
• Ability to contribute to technical design while working within the direction of an existing Technical Lead.
• Strong stakeholder management and risk communication capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and improve full stack web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js and NestJS.
• Take ownership of complex product features from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, support and post release issue resolution.
• Build and maintain scalable frontend components, REST APIs, backend services and database integrations.
• Work closely with the Technical Lead on sprint planning, technical design, architecture decisions, workload prioritisation and implementation approach.
• Follow and help reinforce established architecture, coding standards and development practices.
• Review code and provide practical guidance to improve quality, maintainability, security and performance.
• Support and mentor junior and mid-level developers where required.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across frontend, backend, API, database and deployment layers.
• Identify technical risks, performance issues and areas for system improvement.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps resources during testing, release preparation, deployment and production issue resolution.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, API documentation and developer handover materials.
• Apply secure coding practices across authentication, authorisation, input validation, API security, dependencies, secrets and data access controls.
• Use AI assisted coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or similar tools where appropriate, while independently validating generated code for accuracy, security, maintainability and architectural alignment.
