Job summary

Designblue Manila is seeking a developer to own client websites end to end, from front end in Nuxt 4 and Vue 3 to the CMS and the Laravel API that feeds it. You’ll also manage the server aspects, including deployments, DNS and certificates, with autonomy.

Four days in Salcedo Village and Fridays from home, enabling a balanced hybrid work rhythm. You’ll work with well-known clients across sectors and be examined by compliance and SEO teams to polish your craft.

Job description

You'll own client websites end to end — the front end in Nuxt 4 and Vue 3, the CMS the client uses to update it, the Laravel API that feeds both, and the server it runs on. Most weeks you're moving between all four, and the whole thing is yours.

₱46,000 to ₱52,000 depending on what you bring, plus ₱2,850 a month in non-taxable allowances — rice, uniform, laundry — and a meal allowance for days you're in the office. Four days in Salcedo Village, Fridays from home.

You'd be building for banks, insurers, hospitals, airports and listed companies — Aboitiz Land, InLife Benefits, St. Luke's, Mactan-Cebu Airport, RCBC, Robinsons. Work at that level gets read carefully by compliance teams and picked over by SEO agencies, which is a good problem to have: you'll finish the year a sharper developer than you started it, and you'll have real names to point at.

Projects run the same way every time, so you always know where you are. A design comes in, you build the front end page by page, then the CMS so the client can edit their own content, then the Laravel API behind it. Everything is code-reviewed before it ships — yours included, and you'll review other people's too.

Some of our projects run on servers we manage ourselves rather than a managed host, so you'd hold real infrastructure: deploys, DNS, certificates. That's trust, and it comes with the autonomy to make the call without waiting for permission. We use AI assistants day to day the way we use any other tool — handy, and it doesn't change whose name is on the work.

Being a team of this size cuts both ways, and we'd rather say so. Launch weeks run long. Quiet weeks are genuinely quiet, and you're free to use them. Your work is visible — there's no queue to disappear into, which also means nothing good you do goes unnoticed. You'll be asked what you think in meetings, and we mean it as an invitation.
