Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Python data engineer in the Philippines to design and implement backend data pipelines and the self-service app layer. You will build Python pipelines, Snowflake workflows, and integrate REST APIs while shipping web-based self-service applications.

You will replace over 40 Alteryx Gallery apps used daily by multiple internal teams and leverage Claude and other LLMs for code generation, review, and documentation in an AI-assisted development model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Python development with data pipelines.
• Ability to own production codebases end to end.
• Strong Snowflake SQL knowledge and data modeling skills.
• Experience designing data pipelines from scratch and selecting AWS services.
• REST API work with OAuth2, pagination and JSON/XML parsing.
• Full-stack capability with Python backend and HTML/JS frontend.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data services and workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities
