Job summary

Enphase Energy is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Ruby on Rails, Java Spring Boot, and AWS. You will build backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices in a secure, reliable, and scalable environment.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of cloud backend experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a proven track record delivering secure software in production.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on cloud backend development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails and Java / Spring Boot.
• Proven expertise deploying applications on AWS.
• Solid understanding of microservices and RESTful API design.
• Secure coding practices (OWASP, authentication, encryption).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployments.
• Excellent problem-solving and independent work ability.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Ruby, Rails, and Java Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure security standards compliance.
• Conduct code reviews focusing on security, performance, and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation for reliable deployments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, QA, and Product teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Continuously improve system architecture and engineering standards.
