Job summary

ERNI, a Switzerland-based software engineering firm with a major service center in Manila, seeks an experienced frontend/full-stack developer. The role focuses on modern frontend architectures, integration with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and real-time WebSocket interactions.

You will work on high-quality projects across MedTech, Finance, and transportation, collaborating with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications or continuous professional training in front-end technologies are an advantage.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack web development, with a strong focus on frontend architecture and design.
• Solid experience in Java for UI and Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for real-time interactions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (Next, React, Angular, Vue) and HTML5/CSS3/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated expertise in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Streamline financial projection processes with a unified web-based platform.
• Reprogram VBA/Excel logic in Python for forecasting workflows.
• Upgrade Treasury data mart to store projections, assumptions.
• Data integration automation: automate data retrieval from multiple sources.
• Create a web-based hub for updating and maintaining assumptions.
• Modernize reporting with PowerBI or Tableau.
• Develop frontend components for financial projection and asset/liability systems.
• Establish coding standards for quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• Integrate AI/ML features into user experience and ensure security/compliance.
• Build reusable components and design systems to accelerate development.
• Stay updated on frontend framework advances.
• Identify cutting-edge tools to enhance functionality and performance.
