Job summary

Kake is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help rebuild our architecture for the next funding round, collaborating with a tight 3-person team directly alongside the VP of Engineering. You'll own frontend feature delivery, build highly interactive interfaces, and design reusable components across web and mobile, delivering user‑centric coaching interfaces powered by AI.

Senior-level frontend experience with pattern recognition and reusable component thinking.
Ability to own frontend feature delivery end-to-end and build highly interactive interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own frontend feature delivery end-to-end, building highly interactive interfaces, admin layers, and mobile workflows with a focus on UI/UX detail.
Architect senior-level UI patterns and design highly reusable frontend components across web and mobile platforms.
Build and optimize user interfaces that support structured coaching frameworks, data visualizations from personality assessments, and real-time AI interactions.
Collaborate on the frontend architecture required for a seamless blended experience, including real-time handoffs between AI and human coaches.
Partner directly with the VP of Engineering to translate business requirements into actionable tasks.
Participate in technical design reviews, help set frontend architecture standards and leverage AI-assisted development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle.
