Job summary

Kake is transforming the professional development space with a human-blended AI coaching platform. We seek a Senior Frontend Engineer to help rebuild our architecture for the next funding round, working with a tight 3-person team and directly alongside the VP of Engineering to deliver rich, user-centric coaching interfaces.

The ideal candidate is a frontend-leaning engineer with deep React/TypeScript expertise, experience with Expo or React Native, and the ability to surface complex AI workflows

Qualifications

• Senior frontend role with a strong React/Typescript focus.
• Experience building frontends for AI-driven applications and surfacing AI workflows to users.
• Experience with Expo or React Native for iOS/Android deployment.
• Familiarity with Python-based AI and cloud components; backend exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend feature delivery end-to-end for interactive interfaces, admin layers, and mobile workflows.
• Architect reusable frontend components and UI patterns across web and mobile.
• Build UIs for structured coaching frameworks and real-time AI interactions.
• Collaborate on frontend architecture to enable seamless AI/human coach handoffs.
• Partner with leadership to translate business needs into actionable frontend tasks.
