Job summary

Sutherland is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Manager, Financial Fraud Analytics & Risk Strategy to lead data-driven fraud prevention and risk initiatives. You will partner with senior leaders to align strategies with business objectives and protect revenue while enhancing customer trust.

The role requires extensive experience in fraud risk management, advanced analytics, and the ability to influence enterprise decisions through insightful recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or business discipline.
• 8+ years in Financial Fraud, Risk Management, Fraud Analytics, or related fields.
• Proven experience building fraud detection, monitoring, and risk strategies.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with large datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Understanding of fraud typologies and risk management frameworks.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and cross-functional decisions.
• Certifications like CFE, CAMS, CRCM, CFCS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of data-driven fraud prevention and risk strategies.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into fraud incidents and root cause analyses.
• Create dashboards and reporting frameworks for executive decision-making.
• Evaluate and enhance fraud controls, monitoring systems, and processes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
