Sierra Central Credit Union seeks a Senior Fraud Analyst to strengthen its digital fraud prevention program. The role monitors, investigates, and escalates fraud across online channels, reviews alerts, and supports loss-mitigation efforts with cross-functional teams including IT, Cybersecurity, and Payments.

This seasoned position requires strong analytical judgment, deep fraud knowledge, and the ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Three to five+ years of fraud prevention, digital fraud analysis, or related experience within a financial institution.
• Experience with enterprise fraud detection tools and AI/ML-driven platforms is preferred.
• Certifications like CFE, CFCS, CAFP, or CAMS are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Monitor and investigate digital channel fraud alerts across online banking, mobile banking, and real-time monitoring systems.
• Review, analyze, and disposition alerts and cases with proper documentation in the Case Management System.
• Conduct complex digital fraud investigations including account takeover, synthetic identities, and bot activity.
• Identify suspicious patterns and high-risk activity across digital channels.
• Assist with loss-mitigation steps and coordinate with internal departments as needed.
• Support configuration, testing, and tuning of fraud detection tools and rules engines.
• Prepare reports on alert volumes, case activity, and emerging fraud schemes.
