Job summary

Deltek Systems (Philippines), Ltd. in Makati City is seeking a Sr Financial Systems Analyst to join our global finance team. You will support financial applications, gather requirements, and drive system improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

You will partner with IT and business users, perform requirements analysis, help deliver projects, and assist with SOX/compliance activities while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years prior experience in supporting functional accounting applications.
• Experience in accounting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Basic scripting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Costpoint, Time and Expense, Blackline, GEP, Softrax is a plus.

• Provide on-going application support directly with the users to troubleshoot core applications and processes as needed ap-
• Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
• Analyze, document and prioritize business requirements in cooperation with key users, process owners and business leaders on core application system and process enhancement.
• Collaborate with business owner to analyze and review IT project requirements
• Conduct user requirement analysis for the development / implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing system and process
• Support project and delivery for all assigned project implementation
• Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
• Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
• Plan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancements.
• Provide project support after implementation and deployment in a production environment.
• Involve in regular SOX, Digital Technology compliance review and IT audit where necessary.

Position Responsibilities

This person will be part of the team that supports the Finance department in the use of financial systems. The Financial Systems team is responsible for collecting and prioritizing system improvement opportunities, working with IT to implement the solutions and providing functional application support to the financial systems users.
