Job summary

Collaborus Inc. is seeking a high-performing Senior Financial Planning Assistant (FPA) to lead and strengthen the financial planning support team for an Australian advisory practice.

The role blends hands-on financial planning work with team leadership, overseeing junior FPAs, ensuring output quality, and owning complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with advisers, maintain audit-ready client files, and drive consistency in processes, documentation, and delivery across

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in Financial Planning Assistant roles
• Strong experience in end-to-end financial planning support
• Prior experience leading or mentoring team members is highly preferred
• Exposure to Australian financial planning environment is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior FPAs and guide them in client onboarding, follow-ups and tracking
• Coordinate tasks across advice, implementation, and reviews
• Ensure advice documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for adviser review
• Handle complex or escalated cases requiring deeper analysis or judgment
• Review and validate work before submission and liaise with product providers for complex cases
• Support annual and ongoing review cycles and improve CRM/document workflows
