Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Finance Controller within the SSC & Finance SSC - Controlling and Reporting for comprehensive financial controlling across entities. You will lead financial reporting, analysis, and sign-off for consolidation, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies while coordinating with Group Reporting, Tax, and regional teams.

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field; certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end closing and ensure alignment with group policies.
Perform in-depth legal entity review of financial statements for data integrity.
Prepare accurate balance sheet and P&L analyses with clear variances and trends.
Resolve complex accounting issues and ensure proper accounting treatment.
Coordinate with Regional CFO for entity financial statements' reasonableness and compliance.
Lead pre-close meetings and coordinate across Finance operations (AP, OtC, RtR, FP&A).
Monitor balance sheet discrepancies and implement timely corrective actions.
Advise business controllers on accruals and intercompany transactions.
