Job summary

Remote Talent, an Australian-based virtual assistant and offshore staffing agency, seeks a Financial Controller to own financial reporting, controls, and cash-flow visibility for its growing international business. Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, or equivalent senior finance position.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting capability — P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow reporting, reconciliations, and budget vs actual analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience managing bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and accounts receivable within a complex finance structure.
• Experience in staffing, recruitment, outsourcing, or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day ownership of the finance function and lead the finance team.
• Complete the monthly close and prepare Directors' management reports including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and margins.
• Maintain rolling forecasts, lead budgeting, and forecast cash flow.
• Develop financial models to support growth planning and expansion.
• Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and SOPs and address control weaknesses.
