Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Technology/ Accounting/ Management Accounting/ Accounting Information System/ Economics/ Operations
• Three years or more of relevant experience in consulting or professional services is preferred
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support execution of finance and operations engagements including implementation of new accounting standards and finance systems
• Perform gap analysis and present recommendations/solutions for identified gaps
• Lead requirement gathering, data mapping, and operating model workshops for client stakeholders
• Understand client needs and assess impact; provide recommendations/solutions
• Present complex ideas clearly and draft outputs and reports
• Build strong relationships within Hammerjack Consulting and collaborate across the organization
• Coach and provide guidance to team members and provide feedback for career growth
• Participate in the development of the consulting practice and training of associates

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Support execution of finance and operations financial services engagements including but not limited to implementation of new accounting standards, finance systems, process/operation improvements being involved in the areas of data, systems and processes
• Perform gap analysis and participate in developing, presenting and proposing recommendations/solutions for the identified gaps
• Lead requirement gathering, data mapping, target operating model workshop sessions for the key client stakeholders and prepare supporting presentation materials
• Ability to understand and assess client's need/requirements/issues, consider impact and recommendations/solutions to address them
• Ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely and draft outputs and reports
• Build strong relationships within SGV Consulting Service collaborating with other competencies across the organization
• Coach and provide guidance to team members and provide detailed review comments
• Participate in the performance and career growth of the Consulting practice by serving as a career counselor, training associates and giving timely and relevant feedback.

To qualify for the role:

• A bachelor's degree in Finance/ Technology/ Accounting/ Management Accounting/ Accounting Information System/ Economics/ Operations
• Three years or above of relevant experience preferably in consulting or professional services firms preferably for financial sector (banking and/or insurance) is preferred
• Good comprehensive understanding of Finance function
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Able to communicate with seasoned Finance and operations professionals confidently
• Good command of spoken and written English
• High proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
