Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Associate Finance Director (Controllership) in Metro Manila. You will lead financial reporting, tax, treasury, and audits, driving governance, cost optimization, and regional coordination across GOS, SSC, and Local Business units.

The role requires 15+ years in finance/audit, CPA in the Philippines, and strong leadership. Expect a dynamic, multinational environment with focus on data-driven insights and process automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification recognized in the Philippines is required.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit (incl. internal audit and controllership).
• Experience in managing finance operations in a shared services or multinational environment.
• Experience in financial planning; involvement in audits (statutory/regulatory) preferred.
• Deep understanding of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and treasury operations.
• Proficiency in financial systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Workday).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across functions.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership; adaptable and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely IFRS/local GAAP financial statements and management reports.
• Lead US GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulatory reporting for Nasdaq-listed entity.
• Oversee statutory tax compliance and treasury management for PH entities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure clean outcomes.
• Provide controllership oversight across all PH service lines (GOS, SSC, Local Business).
• Ensure proper cost allocation and recharging of global/regional hub expenses.
• Partner with APAC Finance to streamline regional reporting and cost allocations.
• Conduct balance sheet reviews and implement corrective actions for integrity.
• Strengthen governance with internal controls and tax audits coordination.
• Lead digital finance transformation; automate reporting (Power BI, CoPilot).
• Drive change management to improve efficiency and effectiveness in finance.
