Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst (P3) focused on Inventory Accounting. This role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Finance, and IT to ensure accurate valuation, strong controls, and SOX compliance across the global manufacturing network.

You will be the subject matter expert for inventory accounting processes, BtP reporting, reserves, and related close activities, driving process improvements and system-related transformations using SAP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 4+ years in accounting/finance with inventory or manufacturing focus.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and quarter-end inventory accounting activities.
• Review and analyse inventory balances across RM, WIP, FG.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for inventory accounting.
• Monitor Book-to-Physical (BtP) results and investigate variances.
• Develop inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs; drive automation.

Senior Finance Analyst (P3) – Inventory Accounting

The Senior Finance Analyst (P3) is responsible for ensuring inventory is accurately valued, properly accounted for, and compliant with internal controls and external reporting requirements. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Finance, Cost Accounting, IT, and Site Controllers to drive inventory accuracy, strengthen controls, support audits, and improve financial processes across Analog Devices' global manufacturing network.

The position serves as a subject matter expert for inventory accounting processes, inventory valuation, cycle count governance, Book-to-Physical (BtP) reporting, inventory reserves, and SOX compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Accounting & Close

• Perform month-end and quarter-end inventory accounting activities.
• Review and analyse inventory balances across RM, WIP, FG
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations related to inventory accounting.
• Perform subledger-to-GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyse inventory-related financial results and explain period-over-period movements.

SOX Controls & Compliance

• Execute and document inventory-related SOX controls.
• Maintain audit-ready support for key controls and reconciliations.
• Drive remediation of control deficiencies and process gaps.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.

Book-to-Physical (BtP) & Cycle Count Governance

• Monitor Book-to-Physical results and investigate inventory variances.
• Coordinate with Standard Costing, IT, and Operations teams on variance resolution.
• Identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Drive automation and reporting enhancements using Power BI, Excel, and other tools
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardisation, and control effectiveness.
• Support SAP and systems transformation projects impacting inventory accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance experience.
• Semiconductor or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Experience supporting audits and SOX control environments.

Technical Skills

• SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
