Job summary

Mondiale VGL is seeking a Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist to lead the Manila Shared Service Centre's accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, and cost management. You will ensure statutory compliance and drive process improvements to support growth.

Key duties include daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and vendor payments using CargoWise; development of monthly reports and P&L analyses; and coordination with external auditors and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
• 4–6+ years in accounting/finance, preferably in SSC/ Shared Services.
• Experience with freight/logistics or international teams is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, AP/AR, reconciliations, and postings using CargoWise.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and financial planning.
• Handle monthly country FTE chargebacks and cost allocations.
• Prepare monthly P&L analysis, variance reports, and management insights.
• Ensure statutory compliance, controls, and audit-ready documentation.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and cross-border finance coordination.
