Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; licensed engineer (PRC Board Passer required).
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in facilities management, engineering projects, or construction project execution.
• Strong knowledge of project management processes, including scope development, cost estimation, scheduling, and close-out procedures.
• Ability to prepare and interpret engineering design plans, technical drawings, and calculations.
• Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance processes for facilities and construction projects.
• Experience in contract preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in project budgeting, billing review, financial tracking, and documentation management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and CAD or related design software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities and plant management projects across all phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close-Out.
• Develop complete project documentation including Scope of Works, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate engineering projects with Facilities Operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution.
• Prepare, evaluate, and recommend bids, contracts, and proposals for equipment upgrades and construction works.
• Create design plans, technical calculations, and construction drawings required for project implementation.
• Lead and initiate project coordination meetings with internal customers including manufacturing, purchasing, finance, EHS, IT.
• Facilitate and coordinate meetings with external organizations (PEZA, DOLE, Meralco, LTI, etc.) for regulatory permits.
• Oversee contractor activities, ensuring safety, quality, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, validate progress billings, handle financial reporting and payment processing.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to support management decisions
