Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an External Audit Senior Associate (CPA & NONCPA) for its Makati City office. The role involves leading external audit engagements, onboarding and mentoring staff, and extending offshore collaboration with Australian clients.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of external audit experience and be based in Metro Manila. You will work on-site or in a hybrid setup, with opportunities for professional development and exposure to international audit engagements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• 3–5 years of external audit experience.
• Must be based in Metro Manila and willing to work onsite in Makati City.
• CPA license is an advantage.
• Experience using CaseWare is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform external audit engagements including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Execute audit procedures in line with auditing standards and firm methodologies.
• Handle complex audit areas (revenue recognition, consolidations, financial instruments).
• Prepare and review audit working papers for accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with offshore managers and partners to discuss findings and deliver engagements.
• Identify risks and control deficiencies requiring further investigation.
• Assist in planning engagements and monitoring timelines.
• Utilize CaseWare for documentation and engagement management.
• Mentor junior auditors and review their work.
• Maintain communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the process.
