Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City seeks a Senior External Audit Associate to lead audit engagements for Australian clients, review financial statements, assess internal controls, and ensure compliance with Australian auditing and accounting standards. You will coordinate with engagement teams and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, CPA or Non-CPA, and a minimum of three years of external audit experience, with preferred Australian client exposure and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• CPA or Non-CPA.
• At least 3 years of external audit experience.
• Australian client experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of ASA, AASB, and IFRS.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Execute external audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Perform risk assessments, substantive testing, and analytical review procedures.
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify audit findings.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers in accordance with firm standards.
• Coordinate with Australian clients and engagement teams.
• Supervise and mentor junior audit associates.
• Assist managers in finalizing audit reports and client deliverables.
