Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Forward Site Activation Engineer, Senior to lead planning, activation, and sustainment of forward operating locations across the Indo-Pacific. The role requires coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to achieve IOC and FOC in alignment with DoD requirements and mission priorities.

You will work with government stakeholders, engineers, logistics planners, and contractors to synchronize infrastructure, utilities, security systems, and life safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in DoD/government engineering, facility activation, or expeditionary site development.
• Experience planning and executing activation, infrastructure commissioning, or site startup.
• Experience coordinating civil, electrical, mechanical, and facility systems.
• Proven ability to prepare engineering reports, activation plans, and executive briefings for senior leadership.
• Knowledge of UFC, IBC, NFPA, and lifecycle management in DoD context.
• Professional certifications (PMP/CCM/LEED AP/CFM) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute activation of forward operating sites for logistics and mission support.
• Develop activation plans, schedules, checklists, commissioning plans, and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate engineering activities for JTDCs, ISBs, expeditionary facilities, warehouses, and maintenance operations.
• Integrate civil, electrical, mechanical, IT, security, and utility systems into activation plans.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, inspections, and readiness evaluations.
• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of utilities, power, communications, and life-safety systems.
• Produce engineering reports and readiness assessments for Government leadership.
• Mentor engineering personnel and promote continuous process improvement.
