Job summary

Oxfam Pilipinas in Manila is seeking an experienced event management consultant to coordinate a Care Summit, overseeing pre-event planning, supplier management, day-of execution, and post-event closeout. The role requires strong project and supplier management, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across government, CSOs, and communities.

On-site work in Quezon City is expected during rehearsals and the event date, with a consultancy capacity and detailed technical proposal.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience in event management.
• Experience coordinating medium- to large-scale multi-stakeholder events.
• Strong project-management and supplier-management skills, including work planning and risk management.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Experience preparing production briefs, run-of-show documents, and coordination trackers.
• Proficiency with online collaboration tools (shared drives, spreadsheets, presentations, email).
• Ability to work with diverse participants including care workers, women’s rights organizations, and government officials.
• Desirable: prior work with Oxfam or international NGOs.
• Available to work onsite in Quezon City during rehearsals and on 27 October 2026.
• Applicants may be consultants or service providers and should demonstrate capacity to coordinate supplier ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate pre-event activities and production calendar.
• Lead supplier and service-provider management, ensuring alignment with procurement procedures.
• Organize and manage event-day rehearsals, sessions, and on-site operations.
• Oversee post-event consolidation, closeout documentation, and transfer of materials.
