Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer to support Manufacturing Operations in a high-volume semiconductor environment. You will ensure equipment availability, reliability, and continuous improvement, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Quality and Facilities.

You will lead complex troubleshooting, drive corrective actions, mentor junior engineers, and develop reliability roadmaps to reduce downtime and improve output across assigned equipment platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer, or related Engineering.
• Experience in equipment engineering or related semiconductor/electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Willingness to support manufacturing operations including shift/on-call when needed.
• Leads technical investigations and cross-functional problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing equipment is maintained, qualified, and capable of supporting production.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Implement equipment improvement projects focusing on reliability, uptime, and cost reduction.
• Support installation, qualification, setup validation, and release to production as applicable.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and cross-functional investigations.
• Develop reliability roadmaps and equipment capability enhancements.
• Mentor engineers and technicians on troubleshooting and documentation standards.
• Use data-driven analysis to identify performance trends and preventive actions.
• Represent Equipment Engineering in cross-functional reviews and audits.
• Create and maintain equipment documentation and engineering reports.
