Job summary

AIA Philippines is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and govern architecture designs across applications, data, and infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment with Azure as the default. You will lead architecture governance, roadmaps, and technical guidance for delivery teams.

In this role you will partner with Product Owners, Sponsors, and the delivery team to ensure solutions align with business growth strategies and security standards, while championing DevOps and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science or related function mandatory.
• Significant demonstrable experience in IT Technical Architecture or Enterprise Architecture in a multi-national company or leading management consultancy.
• Deep experience delivering web applications running on multi-cloud environments, Azure as default.
• Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills at a senior level.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ARIS, Zachman preferable.
• Broad experience with technologies and application design/architecture such as Java, Microservices, API, Containerization (AKS), SQL/NoSQL, with end-to-end security.
• Understanding architecture patterns across cloud, application, security, data.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, CI.

Responsibilities

• Review current state architecture and define target architecture aligning with Enterprise Architecture vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Sponsors, and Delivery Team to translate requirements into architecture designs (application, data, infrastructure, security).
• Formulate technology roadmaps including cloud and PaaS/SaaS capabilities.
• Present architecture changes to ARC and obtain approvals before execution.
• Support cloud application architecture and provide CI/CD guidelines.
• Forecast and evaluate new technologies for current and future needs.
• Update application architecture based on new business cases and permits.
• Oversee design and realization of architecture within programs/projects, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Provide guidance to ensure solution design observes defined standards.
